Claim against husband in road traffic accident

The firm has been successful in obtaining damages for our client K who was involved in a road traffic accident and received a settlement of £5,900.00 from her husband’s insurers.

Our client was a front seat passenger in a vehicle driven by her husband when he lost control of the same on braking and crashed into a barrier at the side of the road. The client sustained a sprain to her cervical spine, had a short period of time off work and made a good recovery after physiotherapy.

Despite fairly straight forward issues on liability, it was still necessary to issue proceedings in this case in order to progress the matter to settlement. Settlement was however achieved without any necessity for our client to attend Court.
